this page took me a while and was quite the effort but I think it turned out pretty well, what do you all think of the art in this and does Sonic look like how he does in the CD opening?

In my opinion, you nailed it. It's one reason I'm quite into this one. :) I actually have the Official Sonic CD OST. :P I'm quite the fan.
The only thing I would change is his spine being under the shoe of Metal in the bottom right frame. I feel like it keeps him more distant when he should be closer and reaching out to her. Just my opinion though. xD
With the style I think it's fantastically nailed. :D The Stiffness of Metal in how he stands reminds me of the anime too.
