This is my cover of 'I Wish I Could Go Faster' from the episode 'Sonic Tonic' of 'Sonic Underground'. The whole thing was made in MIDI using Logic Pro X. Personally, along with 'I Can Do That For You' from 'Six Is a Crowd' I think this is one of the best SU songs.

The toughest part of this was getting the drums done. It's a simple rock drum beat, snare on 2 and 4, and the kick on 1 and 3 with 16th notes on the tambourine and shaker, and fills obviously.

The whole thing is in the key of C Major at 107 BPM rising into D Major just after the halfway point, using root notes on the bass and major chords on the guitar. Pretty simple, but it is a kids show - or rather marketed as a kids show. I was watching this when I was 21, and I don't care!
