she's human with a furry mask on to hid her face, in past pages, her emoting was just representation of her mood, not really what is actually happening. For example, in one page, she is presented as fully anthro to represent the role play the two were doing

Her mask was fully emoting back then because I believe it's because Leto was younger back then, giving her mask a more "animated" demeanor to is like any child would look at animal folk. Eventually we see Reth's mask stop emoting completely (The page where she asks Leto to try BDSM rp) and it stays that emotionless from that point up to now like a standard furry head would. I saw someone say that as he gets older the reality of the world becomes clearer or something of it. Reth's mask was emotive back then because he's a child, but now that he's older he knows the mask is a mask and thus is fake.
