A knock came at our door one day, causing Sofi to immediately jump and rush towards it. She's been doing that for at least 3 days now, as if she was expecting someone. It wasn't until today that I find out who that someone was... When she opened the door, it was someone I thought I would never see again.
"Mom..."
Those words echoed in my head as I remember that visage when I followed behind her. It was Sofi's mother, Mary.
"Sofi my girl... Look at you..." She began.
"You've grown into such a beautiful woman. I...I missed you so much. I love you so much!"
The two would then tear up as she would take hold of Sofi. It was a heartwarming scene to witness as mother and child were reunited.
