In theory, Ami's decision to use a velociraptor as her avatar while pretending to be a post-splice human isn't quite as bad an idea as it might initially sound. While there's no actual post-splice dinosaur people out there, thanks to advances in cosmetics, an approximation isn't unheard of. She's not actually a dinosaur, she's just a lizard kid with some feathers on her arms and head and tail.
Of course, in practice, Ami has never been one for subtlety. Damned if she doesn't make this look rad, though.
