Hiatus over for now! I've got 5 more pages nearly ready to release. I will try making Fridays the day I upload for the next few weeks. Sorry for the wait, but I feel like I'm coming back to life finally after the past few months of misery.
Panel three took me about two days to line. Coloring took all day! XD
Page 45 Panel 1: Tacki is on the left side of the panel, his arms wide to emphasize the point he is making in talking to Yosheo on the right side of the panel. In the bottom middle of the panel just barely visible is a view of Temple's sailor cap, ears sticking out. Yosheo: We have a saying in the media. It’s only a slow news day... until it isn’t! Tacki: I hate to break it to you, but we’re only here because it’s snack time. Truthfully, a closed Cookie Princess doesn’t warrant military intervention.
Panel 2: A close up of the Cookie Princess sign from the previous page. To denote which cub is speaking, Lucian and Luna's speech bubbles have a close-up of the respective cub. Luna: You’re right, but it’s not JUST a closed Cookie Princess… Lucian: It’s the fact that it’s closed during snack time! Plus there’s that weird airship...
Panel 3: A large, wide shot of the Cookie Princess and the surrounding city. The upper left is dominated by a large building marked "Transit". To its right is another building, topped by about ten cylindrical storage batteries that are as tall as smokestacks. Along the right panel border is a bit of monorail track, a lone red trolley car halfway down the track. Down and to the right is the Cookie Princess with an airship docked behind it. Running along the left side of this wide-view panel is a cluster of nondescript buildings as part of the rest of the city. Temple: They already got their morning delivery. There shouldn’t BE another airship today. Leon: C’mon Lieutenant. This is kind of sketchy. You have to admit it.
Panel 4: Luna and Yosheo, standing in front of the cafe window of the Cookie Princess. The view is dim, the lights obviiously off and the location empty of patrons and staff. Yosheo is on the the left, facing forward, about to jot something in his reporter's notebbok. Luna, facing forward, is gesturing at the cafe window. Yosheo: Cookie Princesses don’t close when there’s a delivery. They CERTAINLY don’t close during snack time! Luna: And look inside. There’s no lights on… Not a cub at all in the snacking area.
Panel 5: Tacki is at panel left, pointing to the side enterance. Yosheo's eys are closed, a wide smile on his face as he jumps for joy. Tacki: Listen friends, there’s no reason to jump to conclusions. I’ll tell you what though, we’ll head over to the side here and see if we can get a look at the airship yard. If something looks off, we’ll investigate further. Yosheo: I’m sure there’s something going on. A good journalist can sense an exciting scoop in his feathers!
