She couldn't run forever. That little bitch would be his. Then he'd pay her back for the slap and more, oh yes.

Some damn bum staggers out of the alley ahead. She barely keeps her feet getting around the old drunk. He won't bother going around. He lowers a shoulder...

...and it's like hitting a brick wall. The concrete rushes up to meet him. The derelict doesn't budge. He rolls, blood boiling now, ready to kill...

But one look into that face tells him it's too late. He's staring into the eyes of someone already dead.

Good old fashioned old-fashioned zombies! None of this "infected" stuff, we're talking your tried-and-true shuffling reanimated dead guy! Probably by voodoo!

I drew this a while back, but felt like holding onto it til October. Turns out this was a good idea, since my output's been slow lately. The "colors" were done entirely in grays; I didn't do normal colors then convert the pic to grayscale.
