Frankly, I know how you feel. I did get a note stating that an image in my gallery was removed and that I would be suspended if I had any more images like that in my gallery (It was old, but had cub written all over it...so...I forgot about it). I just calmly told the admin, "I'm sorry, I forgot that that was in my gallery, but frankly, I'm not going to miss my account if you lock it for this reason." Which did bring forward an apology.
The Admins do have to realize that being mega strict and banning people left and right because of a rule that we all frankly don't agree on is not going to help at all. Thier reputation is really bad and considering they're the least innovative between the three major art sites (though I still with the people of Deviant Art were nicer...gosh), they really need to overhaul their site and start adding reasons for us to want to stay there.
Also, is it me or are the people there also starting to get really snobby? I mostly hang out on my own account and my circle of firends, but when I go out of that circle, everyone there is either:
-$500.00 Commissions! -Has a HUGE paragraph on the fact that they have a mate and if anyone even looks at thier character nude (whcih thier gallery is hyporcritically filled with), they'll report the person and block them. -Hates EVERY FREAKING FETISH that isn't "Normal", yet loves that ONE fetish that no one else relates to (again, extreme hypocracy.) -etc
I mean, just me being observant, but that's not the FA I initially came too. I dunno why everyone's suddenly acting so snobby, but still, it's really turning me off.
