---23 months later---
The campus owner went to the dorm where Leonidas and Cynder were to let them know the news. Leonidas and Cynder were luckily separated as they were sitting together with their bags still underneath their beds, all packed and ready to go. Leonidas and Cynder looked over to the campus owner and then back to their new friends as they heard the campus owner say, “Leonidas, Cynder, your parents are here to pick you two up.” “Alright, we’re all packed and ready to go sir.” Leonidas said. “Good, I’ll let you two say your good-bye’s as long as you’re both out here in the next five minutes.” The campus owner said. “We only need two.” Cynder said. “Very well then, two minutes.” The campus owner said. Danielle and Jeannie walked over to Leonidas and both gave him a hug as Danielle said, “Take good care of yourself Leonidas, make sure that Cynder stays healthy, and good luck with your guardian duties.” “I will, and we’ll be sure to send you pictures of what our family will look like.” Leonidas said to both girls. Albert and Sam gave Cynder a hug as well and Albert said, “Don’t forget to make yourself descent for your mate when you get back to your home Cynder, and also make sure Leonidas and his mate stay together forever too, alright.” “I’ll do it for you guys.” Cynder said kissing Albert on his cheek. Leonidas and Cynder then grabbed their bags and walked out of the dorm and then met up with the campus owner at the gates where they saw waiting on the other side of the gates was Terrador and Cynthia. Leonidas went to Cynthia placed his bag down beside him and gave his mother a hug, as Cynder ran up to Terrador and placed her bag down and hugged her father tightly. “So, how was camp?” Terrador asked. “It was alright.” Leonidas said. “Good, now let’s get the Fire Guardian home so he can teach his classes.” Cynthia said. “Teach my classes?” Leonidas asked a bit confused. “Yep, you are now officially a teacher, and your students will be excited to see you.” Terrador said with a smile. “With that said, let’s go home.” Leonidas said taking hold of his bag. Cynder grabbed hold of her bag as well. Cynthia took Leonidas’ hand in her own and then with their combined power, Leonidas and Cynthia teleported the four of them home.
--Reappearing back in Warfang—
Leonidas and Cynder looked around and noticed that there was a lot more pictures of Leonidas along with his black fire in the background. “Welcome home, Leonidas.” Terrador said. “It seems that the entire city has gone completely bonkers over me.” Leonidas said with grin. “Cynder, is that you?” A familiar voice called. Cynder looked down the hallway and noticed a purple figure coming towards her, she looked closely at it and noticed that it was Spyro and she smiled, ran over to him and gave him a big hug. Spyro had grown taller during the last seventeen months and hugged Cynder back. “Now that we’re back together, let’s go get our family started.” Spyro said. Cynder smiled and walked with Spyro back to their room and locked the door behind them. Leonidas had a pretty good idea of what Spyro and Cynder were gonna be doing. “Oh Leonidas, is that you?” A familiar voice asked. Leonidas looked down the hall and saw Nightfire coming towards him with Cyrus walking next to her holding her hand. Leonidas teleported his bag to he and Nightfire’s room and knelt down as Cyrus let go of his mother’s hand and walked over towards his father. Cyrus was very close to his father but lost his balance but was quickly able to regain his balance and then walked into his father’s hands. Leonidas then lifted Cyrus into the air and placed a kiss on his forehead. Nightfire approached Leonidas with her arms down at her sides and looked to into Leonidas’ red eyes and smiled. Leonidas held Cyrus up with his right arm and walked over towards Nightfire and wrapped his arm around Nightfire and passionately placed a kiss on her cheek. Nightfire smiled and then pulled Leonidas into a very passionate lip lock showing how much she missed him. Terrador and Cynthia held each other close as Terrador said, “They’ve both grown up so fast, I can only imagine what life will be like when their families come together.” Cynthia lightly elbowed Terrador in the gut and said, “You know we don’t have to worry about that, we both know that Leonidas and Cynder are the perfect resemblance of the perfect brother and sister team.” “Yeah, you’re right about that, but who knows how they’ll come together in possibly multiple years.” Terrador said. “As long as Leonidas is the fire guardian he can stay in the city for as long as he wants.” Cynthia said with a smile. “But what will happen when Leonidas and Cynder pass away?” Terrador asked. “That is something that the world will have to decide.” Cynthia said. “Leonidas, let’s go, your class is waiting.” Terrador said. Leonidas looked over to his parents then back to Nightfire. Nightfire smiled to Leonidas and said, “Go on my love, and teach your students.” Leonidas smiled and kissed Nightfire one last time and then walked with his father to his classroom.
--Arriving at Leonidas’ classroom--
Leonidas looked around at all the Earth, Ice, and Electricity Dragons and Dragonesses. “Lemme guess, guardian candidates.” Leonidas said. “Yep, it’s time for you to show that you’re a good teacher, and you have to be a good leader if you want to be the Fire Guardian my son, some things will be happening during the next few months that have acured quite a few times during the two years while you and Cynder were gone.” Terrador said. “Really, what kinds of things have happened?” Leonidas asked a bit interested. “Attacks, from a Dark Dragon named Demetrius.” Terrador said. In his head, Leonidas could only imagine how much destruction that Demetrius could have caused. “Now that your back, I’m pretty sure you can scare Demetrius back to his castle.” Terrador said with a smile. “Don’t worry father, I’ll do more than send him back to his castle.” Leonidas said with a grin. “Would you like me to introduce me to the class?” Terrador asked. “No thanks father, though I would like to introduce myself to my class.”
--Entering his classroom--
Leonidas said as he walked into his classroom and looked around at all his young pupils. “Good morning everyone, my name is Leonidas, and I am the new Fire Guardian, and I shall be your teacher.” Leonidas said introducing himself. “Good morning master Leonidas.” All the students said unison. “It seems that I will be teaching you all about how to make a good technique in the course of battle.” Leonidas said with a smile. The students then looked around at one another wondering what he meant by battle technique. “But, today I would just like to take some time to get to know all of you.” Leonidas said looking around. The entire class sighed with relief. “Let’s start with you young Dragon.” Leonidas said looking to a seven year old Dragon who was apparently by the look of his scales was an Earth Dragon. “Me?” The young Dragon asked confused for a moment. “Yes you, what might your name be?” Leonidas asked politely. “Oh, my name is Baldo; I’m hoping to become the next Earth Guardian.” Baldo said a bit shyly. “Over the next few months I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to prove to me that you deserve the title of Earth Guardian.” Leonidas said with a smile patting Baldo on his head. Baldo smiled and said, “Well, the only time I ever get vicious is when my friends are in danger.” “Then use that viciousness to help you when you’re in battle young Baldo, it may come in good hands.” Leonidas said. “I will, master Leonidas.” Baldo said looking respectfully up to Leonidas. “Now, who might you be young Dragoness?” Leonidas asked looking at an eight year-old Electricity Dragoness who had black scales on her arms, legs, and tail, but had yellow hair, eyes, belly, wing-membrane, and tail-blade. “My name is Hinder, and it’s an honor to be in your presence, master Leonidas, and I’m hoping to become the next Electricity Guardian.” Hinder said showing her respect to Leonidas. “Well, I’m hoping that you can prove your worthy of being the Electricity Guardian.” Leonidas said running a hand through Hinder’s hair. “Even though master Leonidas, I’m often times hyper, and also have some hearing problems, and I often get jealous of certain things I see.” Hinder said. “Well, here in this class room, there won’t be anyone getting anything better than anyone else.” Leonidas said explaining the rules of the class. “Alright master Leonidas; once again, it’s an honor to be in your presence.” Hinder said with a smile. Leonidas smiled and then asked, “Who might you be young Dragoness?” Leonidas asked looking to a young Ice Dragoness that was ten years old, “My name is Sera, and I’m looking forward to be training with you Master Leonidas, and I’m hoping that you will be able to see how badly I want to be the next Ice Guardian.” Sera said. “I really hope that you will show me how bad you want to be the next Ice Guardian.” Leonidas said with a smile. “Thank you for accepting me in your class, Master Leonidas.” Sera said with a smile. “You’re very welcome Sera.” Leonidas said running his hand down Sera’s crest’s. Sera smiled and gave Leonidas a hug. Leonidas hugged Sera back and placed a kiss on her forehead. Sera released from the hug. Leonidas looked over to a thirteen year old Electricity Dragoness and asked, “Who might you be?” “My name is Volt, I’m the daughter of Volteer, and it is a wonderful honor to be training with you, Master Leonidas.” Volt said showing her respect to Leonidas. “Well Volt, I hope your father taught you well, because when it comes to training with me, it can sometimes get very ugly.” Leonidas said with a grin. “I don’t really mind, I can handle it when it gets ugly.” Volt said getting a bit confident. “I wouldn’t be too confident.” Leonidas said as his voice got lower than usual. Volt then had her confidence immediately taken out of her. Leonidas smiled and said, “Never let your confidence grow too high.” “I won’t, master Leonidas.” Volt said looking down at the floor. “Good.” Leonidas said placing a kiss on Volt’s forehead. Volt smiled as a tear ran down her cheek. Leonidas then walked over to his next student and noticed he was an Earth Dragon. “What might your name be?” Leonidas asked. He looked to Leonidas and bowed in respect and said, “My name is Stalagmite; it’s an honor to be in your presence, Master Leonidas.” Leonidas smiled and then walked over to the next student and noticed that she was an Ice Dragoness. “What might your name be?” Leonidas asked. She smiled and said, “My name is Isoyi, plus I’m hoping to have fun times training with you, Master Leonidas.” Leonidas smiled and then walked over to the next student and noticed that he was an Electricity Dragon. “What might you name be?” Leonidas asked. He looked to Leonidas showing his respect and said, “My name is Valyzone, and it is an absolute honor to be training with you, Master Leonidas.” Leonidas smiled and said, “You’re gonna enjoy training my young friend.” Valyzone smiled. Leonidas then walked to the head of his class and then said, “Well students, it feels quite wonderful to hear your all determined to become a Guardian, even though we’ve been in class for twenty minutes, I would like to say that your all in for one heck of training sessions, and also you will all be able to come with me on my important missions.” “Really, we can master?” Sera asked. “Of course and everyone’s training will begin, tomorrow.” Leonidas said. “Thank you, master.” All seven of the students said in unison and bowed in respect. “You’re all very welcome, class dismissed.” Leonidas said. All students walked out of the classroom and went to their rooms that they were given by Terrador, Volteer, and Cyril. Leonidas then smiled and then left his classroom and walked to his classroom.
---Arriving back in his room---
Leonidas walked in and looked to Nightfire. Nightfire looked to Leonidas with a smile and asked, “How did it go babe?” “It actually went very wonderful.” Leonidas said. “Wow, really?” Nightfire asked holding Cyrus as he smiled up to his father. “Yep, we spent some time getting to know one another.” Leonidas said. “Wow and how did it go?” Nightfire asked. “It went wonderful, but tomorrow is when I begin training them.” Leonidas said. “Alright, I hope it goes alright tomorrow.” Nightfire said with a smile. Cyrus reached up to his father. Leonidas took Cyrus in his arms and placed a kiss on his forehead and said, “Let’s get some sleep for now.” “Alright, but for now let’s wait at least another month to have our next child, alright?” Nightfire said. “Alright, agreed.” Leonidas said placing Cyrus in his crib and then tucked him in. Cyrus smiled and then fell asleep with his blanket keeping him warm. Leonidas crawled into bed next to Nightfire. Nightfire smiled and wrapped her arms around Leonidas’ neck. Leonidas wrapped his arms around Nightfire’s waist. Leonidas and Nightfire then layed their heads down against their pillow, closed their eyes and fell asleep.
