I have somewhere over 20 pups in me (the doctors have a little trouble counting such an overcrowded womb), and after my 40th week came on gone, I'm no closer to birth than 3 months ago. ^^;
Oh, but don't worry! My pups are 100% safe! I'm not exactly sure how, but if I don't go into labor after my due date, then somehow, my placenta doesn't deteriorate like you'd expect it to, meaning that my pups are in no risk of malnourishment. Furthermore, they somehow magically stop growing, as though they want to stay on the verge of being born, but stay inside mommy.
This isn't the first time this has happened actually, and it won't be the last either. I love being pregnant when I'm at my largest~
If they wanna stay in me a whole year, I have no problem with that at all~
