You know, this could fit with a lot of shows, not just MLP. Leaving some strings unwound could certainly inspire fans. But on the other hand, the lack of clarity in some essential elements will undoubtedly inspire critics. And this is from a guy who's not watched a full episode of MLP in his life (so far.) XD
