Background: Aerion was born and raised in the kingdom of Valinor to his parents who were wolf/deer hybrids. As a baby, Aerion was given an arranged marriage to a wolf/fox hybrid named Aena, for his and Aenas parents were good friends for many years. Aerion was born with mixed brown fur and bright-brown eyes.
As a boy, Aerion spent a lot of time with his mother, for she was a master alchemist. She brewed many potions and learned the effects of many ingredients. Aerion wanted to follow in his mothers footsteps, so he took every class at the academy on alchemy and read many books.
Aerions father was a banker and wanted to teach his son about money, just incase being an alchemist didn't work out. Aerions father was a banker, but also an elegant gentleman of society. As a boy, Aerions father took him to the bank for experience. The one thing Aerion hated, was he had to wear a Regalia every time he went. Aerions father liked wearing Regalias to work, the divine temple and the formal festival, especially weddings.
Aerion was forced to wear the regalia when he went with his father to the bank, as well as tutoring sessions on how to be a proper gentleman. Aerion always complained that the regalia was tight and uncomfortable and always pulled on the neck collar. One day, when he tried to take it off, his father hired a Mage to enchant all of his sons Regalias. Once Aerion was dressed in a regalia, we was unable to take it off. His father was given an enchanted ring so that only he could remove Aerions Regalia.
Aerions father thought he would get use to wearing it, but he never did. As he got older, Aerion spent more and more time with Aena and began falling in love with her. After the two of them turned 18, Aerion and Aena were married. Aerion focused on how beautiful Aena looked to help get his mind off his regalia.
Aerion spent his days working at an alchemy shop, learning about all kinds of ingredients and potions. He was rather skilled at making potions for healing and stamina, as well as making potions for curing poisons and diseases. When he wasn't working, he would spend his time with Aena.
Whenever they went to formal parties or to the castle to pay their taxes, Aerion would complain about his regalia, but Aena knew how to silence him without turning it into an argument. Even though he hated the Regalias, Aerion had a happy life.
