Okay, I wanna say I never want to draw a gecko ever again. This was more difficult to work with than birds. Drawing geckoes does not give me the joy. That was really hard.

Poor thing gets taunted by its name.

I know quite a few critters that put on weight the last few months.

A lizard that is both smooth and Bumpy at the same time is way harder to paint than a lizard with normal scales. It was hard to make sure it looked like a Gecko. With other lizards the scales are super easy to make because they're either a much darker or much brighter color to make scales.

There wasn't a problem with this art, it was difficult to draw compared to a regular lizard to make sure it looked like what it was supposed to. It took so much more time and constant fixing and tweaking for it to be a Gecko.

Oh, i think i see what your are talking about, most of the scales on the gecko are nearly the same color as the rest like on the legs or under the head (white on just a little more white...hell of too bright or too dark). Unlike your previous lizard. O_o

Still hope it have given you the slightest bit of joy...because it would be sad to finish such a drawing without being just a little happy about it ^^
