This is the cursed necklace that is worn by Karen Bright, the protagonist in my Die Role story series.

This was interesting to create. I literally ended up making an unfoldable paper model of the eight panel gold cage, with the die faces in each frame, and noting which edges connect with gold rings, so I could figure out the correct position and orientation of each face on the die inside it. Then, using my iPad, for the four visible faces, I had to draw the Chinese numbers and then distort each face for perspective. Yet it still isn’t really highly detailed, as this will be used at a fairly small size, for the story thumbnails, and for her reference sheets.
