For a while now, I've been thinking about making a new version of my pokesona, Alexandrite, that doesn't make use of copyrighted properties. Ultimately, I decided to make this Neo Alexandrite be a fusion of design between the old Alexandrite, and my OC, Bianca. So, I set about working on constructing an image of her.
This is what was made at the end of that effort. An image cobbled together by recoloring and editing multiple pictures drawn of my characters by @AvogadroToast together, with some additional details added by myself and Angel. I'm very happy with how it turned out.
As for what species this new sona is... She's a hybrid of sorts. A fusion of fox, feline, and rabbit traits, with some additional magical bits and pieces added on top. Ultimately, I think I'm going to call her a "Hybrid Fairy", for simplicity's sake.
