The charm is still glowing, it means it’s taking effect, but… Is it broke, or something went wrong with it?

The blood scattered on the floor, the enemy is defeated.
What a tough enemy! I never had a nail-to-nail battle before… I’m quite damaged now…

I used the soul I collected, healing myself… Now I’m feeling better and better…
But the healing stopped very soon.

I looked at the vessel, it’s empty now.
Wait… I collected a full vessel of souls! That must’ve been enough for me to heal from this bad injury… I haven’t completely recovered yet, and now I ran out of souls already?
…Is anything wrong? Why did the souls run out that quickly? It’s not supposed to be like this…

I look at the vessel as I start to heal… the souls are running out at a faster speed than I remember!

I’m in full health now, but my souls have run out again…
…What… it’s supposed to be some more left…
I look at the vessel… it’s normal, same as it always was, nothing is wrong with it…
