I've been, like, majorly obsessed with everything kung-fu ever since I had a memory - and I remember my parents paying for my "phase" and getting me into afterschool karate lessons, anything as long as I wasn't lazying at home.
Little did they know that the toys, movies, posters and classes were enabling me into this world of strongfurs and I was on a first class ticket to where? To badassery. I wanted to throw the kicks, do the stunts, and slam bricks with my paws which... YAH! I totally can.
From karate I went to kickboxing, taekwondo, a bit of boxing and capoeira on the side, every martial art I could get my paws on - I ain't going to let myself slack for a second. I'm not going to rest until I get to the point I can meet all my movie role models, use my skills for big things, and next on the list is the AMA title. With my experience, some trophies, medals, belts and a lot of bruises later, I'll say the window's pretty wide open for me.
My style is very, you know, Van Damme meets the gymnastics team. I'm someone who relies on both strength of body and mind, and would rather be resilient than short-term strong. I believe this endurance and stability is the key for acing most challenges we'll have to face. Many people would go in all macho without much thought, but a clear mind is key - and I always try to put my martial arts philosophy into everything that I do, from how I deal with personalities to how I tackle new tasks.
The biggest misunderstanding these guys will have about me... well, beyond rugs and headscarves, is that they'll maybe think I'm way too much of a softie or too quiet? I'm usually quiet because I need to listen if you talk shit about me, and if you do, best believe I'm kicking tail!
Overall, I want to prove to the guys like me that you can excel if you want it, and that calm strength is the deadliest weapon. I know being a Muslim tossed into this big platform is a huge deal, and I know I can show others like me that they can literally kick ass, and that your dream is always alive, it just needs some nudging... or chopping, depending what it is.
I'm the American Mustelid Alpha because I am 100% focused on the big prize. I am trained to a tee to have no distractions, no drama, no bullcrap, and just take what is rightfully mine, which is the top mustelid title of them all. I am the new way of being a leader which is a combined strength of body and mind. Little can faze me, but stay and look how I ace this. Hey, that rhymed!

Today we get to know Omar, a young, Jordan-born polecat linguist with a penchant for martial arts. Despite struggling in the first challenge's swimming test, Omar earned a second chance and proved being worth of a spot in the Burrow by getting one of the fastest times on the obstacle course.
