it wont always be twilight dragon and spike. ... well maybe staying around spike atleast. but i'll try think of a way to work other ponies into this =P
Just a quick thought. Spike's a baby dragon, which is why he's so small compaired to every other dragon we've seen on the show. Twilight is an adult pony. Point of reference, she's the same size as the school teacher (Cheerilee), who is clearly bigger than her students. If Twilight turned herself into a dragon, shouldnt she be alot bigger?

i heard something about spike being small at least partly because he isn't greedy. though i don't know enough about the show to know if that's true.
part of my logic going into this was she wasn't old enough to be very big =P how accurate that is to the show, again, don't know enough. ....but shes so damn cute! <3
