Cross Foxes are a red fox varient. They have a bold Black color that creates a pattern across their body. There are actually quite a lot of neat red fox varient patterns, but this one is a wild-fox patterning.
This piece was one of the longest to make, and I knew it would because of it being for Autumn. With all those leaves I was both dreading to work on this yet excited for the outcome. For anyone who came to my streams while I was making this, it often felt like I was working so hard, yet not getting much done while I was drawing leaves, detailing leaves. So many little leaves all over. But I really like fall themed art, so I still pressed on day after day.
More on this, I also went out to gather a lot of leaf references from outside. However, my cat decided my references looked tastey and started to eat them.
As you can see, the leaves attack most small things that enter their territory. Most will not survive this battle unscathed but they go into battle knowing this. They do this to protect their mother tree and try to provide fresh nutrients for the winter. Let us see how this battle unfolds.
