She wakes up, a day like any other day, and walks out to the balcony. She stares out onto the sea, thinking about her boyfriend. He left a few days ago, planning to go see the world, but because of circumstances she couldn't go with him, even if he tired and she begged. However, he needed this so that they could have a good future together.
She sighed and rested her head on the ledge. It's been a few months already since he last came back. She misses him so much, and so does he, based on the letters he's been sending her. He's ok, the job paying well, however, he wouldn't be back for a while. This made her feel worse, but t least he'd be coming back during the holidays.
Still, she continues to watch and wait, hoping one day she'd see him by the sunrise, riding a ship, waving at her hello, returning to the love of his life.
