The little monochrome commission that I got a few days ago of yours truly, from

I loved it so much that I contacted the artist to see if I could pay a fee to add color to it, he said yes but he would be a tad busy taking care of other commissions. In the meanwhile I added quick and dirty color to the drawing using Paint 3D and it looks fantastic! I put it on a private link and showed the artist my idea of the color scheme. I told him that this would never be posted anywhere and shown only to him.
I included a preemptive apology for manipulating his creation. I was pleased to see that he replied and actually liked it and gave me a compliment on the choice of colors and said that it looked nostalgic, as when he was learning to color.

He gave me his full permission to show it off! I'm happy about that! I do still have another version of this piece colorized by the original artist coming in the not too distant future.
