Cape fox is another desert fox with some big ears. They have much more patterning on them, and have an interesting lankiness about them. These two are Tumble Roughhousing around in the sand early morning!
I had fun with the shape of this one. I knew that I wanted this to be an early morning picture where the sun was shining and giving things a more pinkish soft color. I really wanted to make something with backlit fur. Because I had a really different thing in mind for this fox, it definitally turned out differently than the other artworks I have made. Working with the colours was really fun.
