So, Sonic Sat AM is one of those properties important to my partner and I. For many reasons, which I"m sure are typical for those in the fandom.
Anyways, when I was first going to start getting Great Tree Saga characters I had thought I wanted them more akin to Sonic SatAM characters. Kandlin put his own spin on things because I didn't specify that, and I am freaking glad I did not because I love how he draws characters in my setting. But I figured it would be fun to get one done up in that style.
Also, that gun Kani is holding hasn't shown up in anything published yet, but I'll let you know now that it is her actual side arm as Bri's bodyguard. It looks like a revolver but if you are familiar with 40K it works more like a shuriken pistol. The cylinder holds thin metal-laced carbon fiber discs with a thin edge that get shot out of the coil/rail mechanism (A coil above and below the barrel).
Sorry to nerd out, but I admit I love making sci-fi and fantasy weapons. Actually drew the reference pic for it myself, in case you couldn't tell from Kanldin's valiant effort to nice it up
Ahhhh, Yeah. That looks alot like a Chiapa Black rhino (though chambered normally instead of lower chamber) and the Black Rhino is what I used to get the basic rough shape for Kanina's gun. Mainly because of that lower chambering. Very cool looking gun, though! Much spiffier than the doodle I gave kandlin
