Their noses pressed together gently as they stared into each other’s eyes. A soft purr filled the air as their bodies slid ever closer together. On one end, the kitty was already content with the warm aura that radiated from the ninetales, but on the other she still wanted more. She wanted to actually feel that fur as it parted underneath her paws and Kindle had no intention of denying her kitty. So she herself leaned forward to make it more possible while Cyradia pressed into that fluff. There it parted, the thick fur a barrier to the soft but delightfully smooth skin beneath.
It proved to be a poor barrier as the kitty's claws extended to work past it. Though sharp as they were to facilitate her hunts, they didn't even scratch the skin. Only light kneads, tugging at skin and fur while she simply enjoyed the feel of it against her paw pads. The whole time she does this, her eyes stay locked with Kindle's. The vixen herself never even thought of looking away either. This did not translate to inaction, however. It was only one part of their show of intimacy for one another. For this was a special day between the two. No anniversary or anything of the like, but the birthday of the kitty herself. Another year lived and another reason to celebrate, yet they wouldn't do it in the common fashion.
This year saw no parties, no fanciful cakes, or anything of the sort. Instead Kindle approached with a different idea entirely. With love shown as pure as could be. And that love the kitty received in the form of this intimate touch. Of letting those claws knead against the vixen's chest while she herself let out a motor like purr. A steady vibration that added a soothing sound to better amplify that already calm aura. Within that, three of those large fluffy tails spread out just to slowly wrap around the kitty. Brushing along her sides the whole while, one even slipping underneath her scarf, and just pulling her in closer. Little by little until their noses were touching against one another's. No firm push. Nor a kiss. Not even enough to really call it a boop of any sort.
Their noses simply touched, their bodies stayed close to each other, and their eyes never looked away. No words for minutes as they held this position together in loving relative silence. No words until the vixen broke it with not another purr or mewl. But instead with a voice dripping with her magic, emotions, and a hint of sweet song.
