A device I've had an interest in for years ever since seeing it recreated in a short-lived History Channel series. The scavenger's daughter was reportedly used primarily for transporting prisoners, and is seen as kind of the opposite of the rack, where it scrunches you in rather than stretches you out. You can find a few online, and I HAVE to try it at some point.
For now, given its use in the Tower of London, it seems like a fitting device to confine a little prince~
