In the spring time, arctic foxes shed their white fur and get this brownish-black coat that kind of looks like a suit. I decided to draw the inbetween of that where it was still shedding the white fur because I thought they looked funny at that time. They get these cute side-poofs.
With this piece, I really enjoyed working on the mountains. I was playing around with another oil paint tool in corel while I was making them. I also really wanted to draw a fox pouncing at something in at least one of the artworks, and this was it. Wonder what his prey is.
