Here is another new character that I have made.

This is Martha, she is the mother of Scout the Raccoon, as you can see by the similar attire. She was a mechanic that helped out in the army of her home world building aircrafts and such. After the war had finished, she had moved into photography as a passion of hers, but it on call whenever she needs to serve her city. She had Scout brought to her by stork during the war and takes care of him, to which he wants to be just like her, wich couldn't make her more happier.

Nice character. I like the story with the two, it reminds me of some history and how some people supported the war effort for work. Cute Scout is going to learn so much from his Mommy
BlazeHeartPanther

Yea, in their world, they helped supply some of the best machines known to people of the time since they were the most advance.

Ah, interesting back story again ^^
JamesTheOtter

Ooooh. A war themed character. And so close to Armistice too.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Armistice?
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Remembrance Day. The 11th November?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Isn't that like Veterans Day?
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
If that's what you call it in the US, then yes.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Yea, that's what I mean, but I wasn't thinking bout that to be honest ^^!
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Well, I think it's very timely to do a character based in wartime. And a great representation of the brave factory women of WW2.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Yea, even though my idea was more of her and her son were from the 1920s or 30s, cause of the clothes and the timelines of both Rupert Bear and Talespin. Though I don't think their was a war at those points.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
No, there wasn't. But there was the Depression of the 1930s.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
True, though that wasn't a war. I don't think.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
No. But it was a period of history. And WW2 started during the tail end of the 1930s.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Ahhh, ok.

Martha: (Hanging out at a workstation looking in a book)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
*comes into the room Martha was in, looking for some toys for Scout* Sorry to disturb you, madam...
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: (turns to face you) Oh, who are you, luv?
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Oh. I'm James. James L Otter. I'm the guy the agency sent to babysit your baby, Scout.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Ahhh, its nice to finally meet ya, I'm Martha, and I used t o be employed in the army here in Steamburg
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
*shakes Martha's paw* Pleased to meet you too.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: So, you're the one my little boy has been talking to me about.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Oh? He's been talking to you about me?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Oh yes, he thinks very fondly of you, he said that you were very nice and thought he was very nice too.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Yep. He's a joy to look after.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: That's great, cause the more friendly you two get, the more he'll want you to play some of his favorite kinds of games.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Oh? What games are those?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Well, its a bit of an embarrassing thing to play, but...
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
It's okay. I deal with a lot of embarrassing games as a babysitter.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Well, its a game that we call Nappy Pull.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Ohhhh! I've played that game before!
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: R...really, you've heard of that game before?
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
I've played it with several cubs I've looked after. I even play it with my own little cub.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Awww, you're a father, huh?
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Yep. I have a little girl. Kiara. She's nearly 2.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Awww, a baby girl. How cute, and she loves to play Nappy Pull?
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
She really does. Every moment I'm in the nursery with her, she doesn't want to play with her toys. She'd rather play that.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Awwww, really? My boy is the same way. I go in there, and he comes up and asks me to play it, even if he does get embarrassed by it.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Quite. He seems to get a bit embarrassed about stuff like that, unless he's with another tot.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Yea, he's to proud to admit he still like babyish things cause of his smart mind, but deep down, he is still a toddler and loves to play those kind of things.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Precisely.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Scout: You actually caught me at a good time, I was looking through some photos I took of our fun game.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Really? Can I see some of them?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Well.....since you are such a good friend to my son, I suppose you could see them.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Okay then.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: (Opens up the book) This is a baby book I keep of all the times we played the Nappy Pull game.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Oh! You keep a book like me and my wife.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: (chuckles) Yes I do, cute to know you do as well. I think its very important to keep a babys precious memories in photos
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Exactly. Anyway, let's take a gander at these photographs.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Well, here's a picture I took of him pulling his own diaper. After I pulled on it a bit to check him one day, he started doing it to himself since he was curious

(shows you a sepia toned picture of a baby raccoon pulling on the back of his diaper smiling)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
*gasp* He does it himself? A solo Diaper Pull?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: (chuckles) Yep. He was about 8 months old at that point. He's even pull at the front of it enjoying it

(shows another pic of him pulling the front and smiling)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Awwww. A solo Nappy Pull looks like a lot of fun. I should teach that to Kiara.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Well, I got to play this with him when I checked his diaper one day and he giggled as I did, so I pulled it a bit harder stretching it and he loved it a lot.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Just like when my darling Katherine decided to do it while checking Kiara's diaper in the park once.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Awww, is that how it started with her baby?
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Yep. Apparently, Kiara felt something from it and loved it.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Awww, Kiara, such a beautiful name.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Yep. It means "she who is bright".
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: I bet she is a bright little girl.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Oh she is. She brightens up our lives every day.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Well, she sounds adorable. I bet she's the cutest little otter you ever laid eyes on
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Ummm... She's not an otter...
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Oh, really?
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
*fetches a photo of me, Kathrine and Kiara* You might be surprised, but Kiara and Katherine aren't otters.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Oh, look at that, they are foxes, so cute....wait a minute, she's got multiple tails....She's a Kitsune!!!
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Oh no... Please don't let anyone else know, Miss Martha...
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Oh, why not?
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
The government in our area has placed strict restrictions on mythical beings. That means that Katherine has had to go into hiding by disguising herself as a fox. That's why she wears long dresses in public to cover up her tails. She's okay, but Kiara can't hide her tails that easily...
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Wait, why would a government restrict mythological creatures?
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Don't ask me why. Don't ask me how. But they do. That's why we don't usually have that many cubs around to play with Kiara. If they see her tails, they might tell their mommies and daddies about it...and then...*sniffs*...they'd take her away...
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Awww, poor baby. We'd never discriminate against mythological creatures. Infact, we've never really seen any in our home. Maybe your family would do better to move to Steamburg.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
That's...a really good thought. I'll discuss it with Katherine. We want to give Kiara a good upbringing in a place that accepts mythies.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Well, we'd except anyone in our community, even if we are a group of people built on our intellect of intelligence and technology pioneered by such forward thinking people like Jules Verne.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
*shakes and sniffles a little bit* Martha?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Yes? (walks closer to you)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
*brings Martha into a hug*
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Aww (wraps arms around you and hugs)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 3 months ago
Thank you so much. You suggesting that we move here to Steamburg will do my family a whole lot of good.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 3 months ago
Martha: Well, I'm glad I could help out with that.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
*smiles* Would you like to see some more photos of my family?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Oh yes, and I can show you some more of mine.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
Well...*fetches another photograph out of my pockets*...here's a really cute one of when we were in the garden and Kiara was wearing her bunny romper. Katherine makes all of Kiara's clothes.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Awwww, look at that. (smiles warmly)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
You know what happened after that photo was taken?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Hmmm, you got me. (shrugs)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
A robin flew down and rested on Kiara's bunny and then started pecking the ears, where the strap buttons were.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Oh (chuckles)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
Yeah. Poor Katherine almost threw a fit when she saw what was happening. Those strap buttons took a long time to sew on correctly. But it was funny seeing Kiara sat there with her romper straps thrown behind her.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Oh I bet it was. She must of had a cute reaction to it.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
She certainly did. From the look on her face, it seemed like she was surprised it was happening.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Awww, that's so cute ^^
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
Want me to show you another cute picture I always have with me?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Of course (smiles)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
*fondles in my pockets for another picture* Ah. Here it is. This was taken on one of our many visits to the seaside. We usually go by train as it's cheaper and quicker than going by road. *shows Martha a picture of Kiara staring curiously at a steam train at the seaside station* I think she takes after her adopted daddy here.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Awww, why's that?
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
I have a fascination with railways and steam trains, and it seems like Kiara seemed fascinated in the engine that brought us to the seaside.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: (chuckles) Cute. Steam trains run in our city too.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
Well, for a city called Steamburg, I wasn't going to doubt that there wasn't.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: (chuckles) Yea, I guess its pretty obvious.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
*pulls out another photograph* And this is during our day out. We decided to buy some ice cream.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Awwww, sound yummy
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
*shows Martha a photo of Kiara in a beach romper with ice cream all over her face*
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Aww, she is just to darn cute ^^
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
I should bring her round for a playdate with Scout someday.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: I think Scout would like that very much.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
I think he might.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: He doesn't have as many friends due to him being much smarter then most toddlers.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
Oh no... That settles it then. I'll bring Kiara over for a playdate sometime.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha (smiles) Thats very sweet, though he does a friend.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
I think he told me about him before. Toby, right?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Yep, Toby. Has he told you about him?
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
He has. It seems like he likes him very much.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: (smiles) Oh yes, they are a cute little pair.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
Do you have any photos of them together?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Oh yes I do, indeed (scrolls through her book to a page that says (Toby and Scout)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
Ooooh. They have a section to themselves?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: They most certainly do (shows him a picture with their arms around each other smiling at the camera)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
Awwww. How sweet.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: And they do many other things together too (shows another picture of them getting their diapers changed together laying side by side with their diapers open exposing their private parts)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
Oooooh. *blushes and giggles seeing this*
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Yea, they are cute with their privates showing.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
Almost all cubs are, Miss Martha.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: (Smiles) Yep, most certainly
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
Does he have any other friends besides Toby?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Well, truth be told, he is friends with a gryphon.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
A gryphon? A mythie?
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Well, I'm not to sure what a Mythie is, but he is a mythological creature.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
It's what other creatures use as a slang term for mythological creatures. Believe me, they use it a lot where we live.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Hopfully it wasn't in a derogative way.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
Sometimes...it is.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Sorry to hear that (hugs you)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
*hugs back* But if we move to Steamburg...we wouldn't get all that name-calling.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: Nope, none of that here for sure.
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
That's nice to know.
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
Martha: (Hugs you)
JamesTheOtter
4 years, 2 months ago
(Wanna end it here?)
BlazeHeartPanther
4 years, 2 months ago
(Sure)
