This was originally going to be a much bigger picture with way less negative space. I wanted to include the Darkside Heartless grabbing him by the arms and legs, but I went overboard with the details and I didn't have enough time to recreate them on Darkside so I had to work with what I had. I do feel that the amount of black adds a little something to the picture though. I don't now if I'll ever get around to completing the full picture however :I
I also didn't really feel comfortable leaving him without any clothes but I felt like I had to at least keep him without a shirt to show the Heartless symbol, and those Kingdom Hearts pants are far too complicated to do with limited time (all those zippers man) I considered just going with the normal Mickey pants but I felt that it wouldn't convey Kingdom Hearts.
All things considered, I'm just glad that I was able to draw Mickey since I've been trying to do it for a long time.
