I'm torn. I think the second could have been fine tuned a little with the coloring. The first feels too flat compared. They both rock and are awesome though! I know when to give up! I'm just going to go ahead and like both of them! Sorry I can't help you on which one came out better! ^_^""

the first one looks clean and finished but it does look flat which can be a bit of a problem.it doesn't quiet fit with the background sense the background fits more with the the second one.as for the second one it would look better if it was fined tune to make the shading a little smoother just to make it look a little cleaner but they're both great. I think the ideal one would be a mix between the two but I don't know how you would go about doing that Digital art is way out of my area of Expertise I'm a paper a pen Type of person. Great work as always. P.S I'm just trying to be helpful not mean :)
