The humans foolishly believed that flight would buy at least a little bit of time to find some counter to the onslaught of the furred beasts below. However, they quickly learned that the monsters didn't need wings to catch their planes crammed full of terrified refugees and pressured scientists.
Admittedly, I spent faaar too much time re-rendering this one and compositing. Especially since I'm not entirely pleased with the results. Mainly the lines around the foreground and how the final composition didn't mesh together too well. I also wanted the cloud layer in the background to be more distinguishable to give that "beast in the fog" feeling. But it is what it is; I need to focus on other projects now.
