Some of you sold me I should probably describe a little about my characters backstory.
I'm not really into that. I'm more interested in making new designs than anything else. I'm more a designer than a storyteller.
But I'm a pretty good world builder, I still have years of experience in DMing d&D :)

So here a little image of Sting in her first Manticore outfit. (In human form because why not)
"Manticore" is not her race, but a code name.
Sting was part of a special force team designed to take down super-powered beings and other hazards. All the squad members were equipped with vaguely animal-like mechanical exoskeletons. Sting's personal scorpion-like machine was designed to improve her fighting skills, giving her an extra limb to better perform her personal, brutal, martial art.
The team, the Chimeric Commando, is no more but Sting still somehow find new sponsors to build her new equipment for her mercenary missions.
