Britt here is a euscorpius flavicaudus, a species of scorpion that ranges as far north as Sweden and the UK. She's a very bright and cheery sort, and tends to go overboard in an attempt to counter the nasty reputation scorps have. As a consequence, she often winds up wearing very colorful, clashing clothing. Don't worry, her stinger is harmless- about as bad as a bee sting. She keeps her claws back behind her head, too, but has discovered something unusual- due to their resemblance to oversized pedipalps, she gets hit on a lot by the local spiders.
And yes, she's a herm. Scorpion bits are a lot less... obtrusive than those of vertebrates.
