In his defense. this comic never seems to progress beyond the same joke over and over, so early pages have kind of become easily forgotten. Alot of people have suggested "lol just fly" since page 9

Luring him to populated area, then taking the townsfolk hostage...Kobold may be OP-ish, but others are free XP kind of weak against Dragon! She needs to start thinking outside the box! >:3

Until She remembers that She can take hostages and use them as meat shield and blackmail material. >:3
She also could just visit other Dragons, and gang up on Kobold. He can't evade all, and I am sure he isn't immune to all types of breath weapons...is he? XD
Kobold has to keep Dragon out from populated areas. :)

Pretty sure any attempts to take hostages or threaten a population would end the 'courtship' real quick and he'd start going for the kill, and given how utterly outclasses she's been so far that probably wouldn't work too well for her.

As for any other dragons if they're anything like this one(proud, eager for a 'fair' fight) seeing her running away from a tiny little kobold probably wouldn't leave them too eager to assist. She started the fight(or at least accepted the challenge) it's on her to end it.

It's Heath Ledger's Joker dilemma, when things come to that. Are you a Hero who can save everyone, keep them safe, or does your decision toward a villain-takes-hostage/terrorism causes indirectly more bloodshed, casualties, and damage??? If a hero's decision isn't for the benefit for the people and things the hero tries to protect, then is he a hero or just another problem-source? A true Hero defeats the Evil Force swiftly and ends it's danger then and there, keeping everyone safe from further woe! Any less is not heroic at all...

This comic goes for the humor, so I am sure, that even a hostage situation would end up blowing up and back into Dragon's face.

And your call on egoistic dragon-behavior is totally right...but maybe Daddy or Mommy Dragon would make an exception just for this first time...maybe? She could be in good terms with Her sibling Dragons as well. :/ :P

Relentless, patient, determined, you may as well surrender to the bone, for in time, you will succumb to this Kobold's Snusnu.

Maybe invest in enchanting that wooden sword with a DoT status effect. Carry a second when they're at five percent health without the DoT effect.
