Well, here it is! The official reference sheet for my original character, "Taro The Lizard".
As of now this character is still as deep as a sheet of paper but I plan on evaluating his story in some kind of RPG - creating experiences is easier for me than writing pages of plain text. Taro is a sailor who always finds himself at the end of the pecking order. He does not know where he belongs or where he came from, nor does he remember his parents. He often dreams about what his parents might be like, but his dreams are often interrupted by the shouting and screaming of vicious pirates. Taro is being held captive by a pirate crew whose leader is known as Captain Edgelord. The pirates are not entirely heartless though as thanks to them, Taro has something he could consider his "home," and he gets food on the table... as long as he does all the dirty work, such as scrubbing the poopdeck, washing the pirates' clothes, preparing the food etc. The pirates do not respect him as an ordinary member of the crew though, and he is often mocked by them. The pirate crew are all vile humans, so it does not come as a surprise that they mock someone who is different. Truly, Taro seems to not be of this world...
Wow, um. I'm drifting off here. But that's at least some backstory for this character! I still don't know whether I'll find motivation for this RPG thingy (hint: I never finished an RPG Maker project) but I just might try and see where it leads me.
