Brother troubles:
Before Ash met Sonic he had to listen to whatever his brother said so he wouldn't "taint" the family name being the St John name. Geoffrey was strict and would visit Ash from time to time if he heard Ash was causing trouble. He heard Ash was once again going off having another fling that wasn't with any of his chosen suitors so he came to stop this little fling once again, but this time it'll be a lot harder then expected.
Family Affairs:
In the au Ian is alive and well only a bit strict when it comes to keeping face, he was apart of the "cleansing" and trained Geoffrey to be a good soldier. His marriage to Alysha was mostly of convincing to conceive more soldiers but when they finally met at a Vamp ball to get to know future families, they fell in love and with luck Geoffrey was conceived that night. Unfortunately the only one who wasn't happy with the marriage was Alysha's sister Patricia, she believed the cleansing was a huge crock, and a waste of time, but she had her reasons to believe this. But after her sisters unfortunate death at the hands of a fellow Vamp, she took it upon herself to take Ash and raise him, since Ian was too busy drowning his sorrows in his work not giving Ash the same attention he gave Geoffrey. After sometime Ian demanded Patricia to hand Ash back so he could start arranging suitors for Ash. Patricia and Ash were not happy about it but couldn't do much about it.
Suitors:
Ash was born when the "cleansing" of the weres was settling down so he didn't have a lot of skills counting for some skills in finances. So his father Ian, decided that the best way for Ash to help keep the family alive is to be a bride to another strong family. At the time Ash was still pure, meaning he still was a virgin and a fist time was like a strong aphrodisiac to some vamps, so Ash had many suitors but one day it was found out that Ash lost his purity and the many suitors lessoned and many became scum, which made Ian very upset, not just because without his purity he wasn't going to have many suitors but because he doesn't know who it was Ash gave his purity to.
Friends:
Including in this upload, I introduce two of Sonic and Ash's friends.
Amelia "Amy" Rose: Born into a magical family, Amy was sent to be trained by the strong warlock Merlin, who was a neutral party during the "cleansing". But after sometime Merlin decided that Amy grew strong enough to go into the city to meet another neutral witch named Lady Rouge Amy was super excited to meet The Lady because she heard what a big role she played in keeping the Weres and Vamps in line and she wanted be just as strong as she was.
Tails the six tailed kitsune: Miles "Tails" Power born with two tails, once he was old enough his uncle Merlin took him under his wing to train him on how to use his powers and as he grew newer tails started to appear, he still isn't the strongest kitsune out there but knows that with more training he will be almost as strong as his uncle.
Around the time Tails came to live with his uncle he met Sonic, who his uncle was raising as his own, surprised at first to meet a were his uncle made it seem normal to have someone like Sonic in their lives, the same with Amy when she came to live with them, Amy was surprised to meet Sonic she even gained a all crush on him until Sonic turned her down and at first it was awkward for awhile but once Merlin finally explained how much hat they were feeling is normal and time heals all, they became friends once more.
Amy and Tails help keep Ash and Sonic's relationship a secret, Amy's skills are still abit rough but she can still pop in and out with no problems, as Tails heals them when enemies started appearing and they had to fight.
