Background: Crossbone was an Angel Dragon with multi-green and black colored fur and green eyes. He was born as an orphan from his mother Velda and his father Banes.
Velda and Banes were both Angel Dragon criminals. They were thieves who stole from others. Velda and Banes eventually got caught and arrested after attempting to steal from capital treasury. They were sentence to forty years aboard a transport. After she was arrested, Velda discovered she was pregnant. She gave birth aboard the transport to a son and named him Crossbones. Hours later, a riot broke out and the prisoners tried to take control of the ship. When they tried to take the engine room and the hyperdrive malfunctioned, causing a reaction that would cause the ship to explode. Velda managed to get to the infirmary, grab Crossbones and met up with Banes. They both reached the escape pods and placed their son inside. Banes set the cordinates for Dragulon and the pod ejected and jumped into hyperspace before the ship exploded. The escape pod landed in the Dragulon Capital and Crossbones was taken to the orphanage.
The government learned about the prison ship and that Crossbones parents died. Two weeks later, a light-purple dragon named Talor visited the orphanage and asked about adopting Crossbones. Talor was a tailor in a large town outside the city. He was the best suit maker anyone had ever seen. The orphanage allowed Talor to adopt Crossbones, believing he would be a good influence.
Crossbones was well taken care of. Talor saw that he was kind and gentle as he grew up. Talor decided to wait till Crossbones was eighteen to tell him about his parents. Talor always kept an eye on Crossbones, especially around his shop. Crossbones had a habit of touching all the clothes, for he liked how they felt. When he was six, Talor dressed Crossbones in his very first suit. Crossbones complained that it was too tight.
Talor was kind to Crossbones, but was also strict and showed discipline. Whenever Crossbones got in trouble, Talor would have him dressed in a suit and sit in the corner in an elegant fashion. When Crossbones turned eight, Talor signed him up for Cotillion classes. Crossbones was taught in elegance, manors, sitting, speech, dancing, posture, conversation, especially attire. When attending the cotillion classes, Crossbones had to wear a suit. Crossbones always groaned and looked at his suit when he felt it was tight. By the time he was twelve, Talor taught Crossbones how to manage the store and design suits. Whenever he was in the store, Crossbones would greet customers and do his homework. He had to wear a suit as usual, but he had gotten use to them at that point, for many of the girls complimented him.
Crossbones loved working at the store after a while, for he was able to meet new friends and bring fellow customers back. When he was sixteen, Crossbones was given a school assignment to research his family tree. He had asked Talor many times about his parents, but would be turned away. Talor decided to tell him the truth. After hearing what he had to say, Crossbones didn’t believe his parents could ever be thieves. Talor then showed him a recording that his parents had made before they ejected him from the ship. Crossbones heard them confess their crimes and heard how much they loved him. Crossbones went into tears and Talor comforted him.
After he graduated high school, Crossbones decided to go into business with Talor. Crossbones had turned into the perfect Angel Dragon. He had a great life and a promising future and a father to help him get there.
