if its known only by the royal family, wouldn't the cat King know where it is too? looks like their goose is cooked.

Unless the King was leading the charge, I do not think the royal guard knows this secret tunnel.

ah good point,now if there were a secret exit known only by the royal family i imagine the cat king could be standing outside it on the next page.^^

Could be.

I still imagine these trap doors and secret passages are hidden in case of a coup. Who knows if the soldiers would be bought off, etc..
