This would be Nidia, A female linnorm conscripted into Shard's service. Though she is bound to follow Shard's will, that doesn't mean that she's in any way tamed. Nidia is very good at finding out how magic mixes with other forces and materials, making her prime supernatural researcher. Her discipline is pretty well tempered with outbursts of violence or illogical paranoia. Nidia also seems to be afflicted with a twisted sort of affection toward her pint-sized "master" often mixing threats of bodily harm or name-calling with a tone more often heard between lovers and not from a tormentor toward their prey.

I had the idea for Nidia conceived from another story I was doing a long while back, but only now just solidified her design. I decided that most of the partly draconic species nearer to chaos or chromatic ties would look more feral or draconic while the ones associated with order or hybrids would take on humanoid aspects. I guess Breath of Fire is still with me in that regard.

I wanted to show her general size in comparison to Shard in this pic. As well as refine the kind of palette I was going to use for her.
