Background: Slash was born on his home planet Dragulon. He was orphaned when he was a baby and left in the care of the Dragulon Galactic Military. Slash was raised and trained to be a solider from the moment he could walk. Growing up, the other kids began calling him Dragon Shark because his tale looked similar to a sharks tail.
Slash trained in hand-to-hand combat, navigation, flight, space walking, laser sword, even learned to use blasters. Slash proved to be very skilled with the blaster and as a space fighter pilot. Slash graduated from the military academy when he was twenty years old and promoted to lieutenant.
Slash fought in many battles and brought victory in each one. When he was 30 years old, Slash was given a rescue mission to save several recruits who held captive on the planet Trigore. Slash new from experience that Trigore was the planet of a species called Druids. The mission to rescue the recruits was a success, but Slash chose to stay behind so his team could get the recruits to safety.
Slash was captured by the Druids. They kept him prisoner and tortured him. Slash had no idea how much time had passed, for he kept passing in and out of consciousness. He was usually kept awake for days at a time as the Druids tortured him for hours on end. Slash was eventually rescued. When he came to, he found he was back on Dragulon and in the hospital. He was told by the doctors and his commanding officer that he was held captive for over two years.
He then learned that the doctored had surgically implant him with biomechanics because the Druids cut off his left arm and most of his left shoulder. Slash was equipped with a biomechanics arm that was ten times stronger and could extend a far length. The base for the arm was equipped with a magnet to keep the arm attached.
Slash hated wearing the arm, for it reminded him of the torture he had to endure. After his recover, Slash was honored for his bravery in saving the cadets and given a mandatory medical leave. During which time, he fell into a depression and began drinking. Slash tried to return to his military service after several months, but was still suffering from flashbacks of his torture.
Unable to cope, he decided to retire from the military. Slash mainly lived at his home in the forest mountains for the next five years. Slash often had to go back to the hospital once a month to change the fluid in his new arm to keep it functioning. He spent that time thinking about returning to his military service, but couldn't get over what had happened to him. Overtime, he got use to bio arm and enjoyed a solitary life.
