Info: Ashling is the princess of the kingdom ruled by her father King Henry and mother Queen Mauve which on a hill overlooking all of Dublin, Ireland. She was born and raised in royalty, preparing to someday be queen, but never able to find her one true love, with every suitor being more bent on wealth and power than love, until Prince Lee would come into her life later on. Ashling grew up learning the skills of archery, music, singing, dancing, and sword duels. But most of all, she desired for adventures out in the great unknown where no princess has ever gone before, despite her parents' objection to this, finding it too dangerous for a daughter of royalty, but Ashling kept on dreaming and had no interests in being too ladylike, but to be adventurous. She loves animals, especially those in the woods that she learned to understand when she became a preteen. When Ashling became a teenager, she discovered the land of the fairies hidden beneath a well out in the forest during an archery lesson and met Anna the flower fairy, and Evelyn, Queen of the fairies, learning the ways of the little people, understanding why they were mistrusting of humans before once hearing their story of why they are in hiding. Ironically, the love of her parents would be put to the test when there would be times that the kingdom was either under attack or she faced being captured from certain enemies. Rather than be cooped up inside every day of her life, Ashling wanted to be more than just a "perfect princess" that she felt her parents expected too much from her to be, and lend a helping hand to the ones that helped train her with the weapons. Although Ashling does love her parents, she only wishes for them to be more understanding with her spirited and carefree personality that not every member of the royal family has to act and behave the same way. But when Lee comes into her life, they grow to be less overprotective and understand when their child is no longer a child.
