Finally finished this after a smallish hiatus due to school and stuff.
But anyways, on to the story and fun fact for this page. X3
Fen was gripped with fear at the evil abomination before his very eyes. It was nothing but a giant cloud of dark matter for now, but it would soon form into a monster that will be all of Neopia's worst nightmare. Fen screamed and started running for his life, scared that the soon to be beast would engulf him in a cocoon just like his friends, or worse. As he ran, he noticed parts of castle starting to give way and crumble like any derelict castle eventually would. This gave him even more reason to flee the palace before it could kill him. In a matter of seconds, he finally rocketed through the main entrance in terror. The castle groaned and creaked at the darkness's presence until...KA-BOOM!!!! The monster cloud burst through the central tower like its egg's shell and began to take shape. Fen was losing all hope, that Neopia as he knew it would fall to this strange and horrifying beast...or was it the end...?
Fun Fact: While some Neopet historians believe the castle itself to have once been made out of dark magic, others shrug it off as a myth since the Faerie Queen is widely known to have built it from scratch.
