Fancy Pants willingly gave up everything and moved to Ponyville after getting married to Rarity. She was disappointed that it wasn't the other way round with her ending up in Canterlot. The moment Fancy Pants moved in with Rarity, he started up to find ways to earn bits. One of the ways was introducing Rarity's fashion to the world. Which meant he was rarely home. Though when he does have the time to return home, he made sure to spend each and every second he has with Rarity.

This wasn't the best choice, but eventually, Rarity found herself carrying after a long night with Fancy Pants. At that time, Fancy Pants then decided to take time off from work to spend with Rarity and their unborn foal.

When their foal was born, the moon was blue in colour. They named their foal Blue Moon.

However, as Blue Moon started to grow, Rarity found herself not being able to love Fancy Pants anymore. She was only stuck with him because of Blue Moon. Rarity started being hostile towards her child whenever Fancy Pants isn't around. That's saying she has a lot of time to hate on a little foal.

She never told anyone, but she had another life outside her first family's. She had two children with another she was very familiar with.

Fancy Pants was able to return home early one night, happy to be able to see his wife and child. The scene he walked into spoke different words.

"Everything is YOUR FAULT!!!" he heard Rarity yell out.

Fancy Pants realised Rarity doesn't even know he's in the house.

When Rarity noticed Fancy Pants, she tried to come up with an excuse but was unable to. That night was full of tension. Rarity was just grateful Fancy Pants didn't return when she had her lover over.
