InkTober 2020 Day 18 Trap
Hey guys, I know that InkTober really isn't that popular with the majority of you.
I've been doing this for a while now, this is my third year, and I know that while it isn't that popular with your folks, it means something to me.
I kind of hoped more people would have felt inclined to start picking up the pen and paper this year, and have more community involvement. Sadly, there isn't that much InkTober involvement from anyone, especially the popular artists.
Still, it means something to me. I like the creativity that following these prompt lists gives us. I like how I can interpret a random word like "Soggy" and draw something completely different to someone else. It's also a good creative refresher, to break free from a rut and experiment other creative ideas or concepts.
Next year, I want to see some of YOU people posting as well. Quick sketches, no masterpieces... just more involvement. Hopefully I can get more artist friends off their butts as well.
After InkTober is done my regular stuff will resume.
So, today's submission is "Storm". Poem below.

"In cozy nook
With gripping book
You're comfy and you're warm.
Just add a dash
Of thunder flash
And enjoy the perfect storm."

Aiden is reading "Pet Semetary". On the shelf is a mock title, "Nancy Drew and the Bad Case of Cthulhu", and the book "The Amityville Horror".

I've had that same situation with reading, it makes for an interesting read as the wind blows and the thunder rumbles outside, and if your light is off, the flashes and light show of thunder through the blinds.

I would love to have an attic bedroom with a window nook for reading in, I absolutely love storms. <3

Window Nooks really aren't the comfiest of places (unless they have built in padding), but Aiden has his blankie and a pillow. Reading by candlelight is a nice touch for spooky stories.
I wonder if there is a crackling wood fireplace in the same room as well, with fresh tea brewing and biscuit cookies to enjoy. >:3

Eeek! Run Aiden, you have a spider over your head! If you fall asleep don't sleep with your mouth open.πŸ•ΈπŸ‘€

:D
Some of the poison ones tend to leave people alone unless provoked. Aiden is usually quiet, kind hearted, and patiently observant: he might have even greeted the spider and told it his book reading plans, with a mutual condition to not squash it so long as it leaves him alone. <3

I read them every day dear.
Even if I don't always comment.

I just wish more people would try and contribute themselves, lol. Even beginner artists trying out, with sloppy sketches.
Thanks for keeping tabs on my stuff Furlips; you've been a long term Watcher. <3

I might.
No promises though.

I'd love a writer's version of Inktober.  But it would get even less support than this does.
Laments the lack of interest of furries in the written word.

Well, I can't say too much about horror books but, I would have had Aiden reading either "Frankenstein's Monster" or "Dracula".

As for joining in Inktober, I'm no artist.  As I'm wont to say, I can only draw stick figures and I don't do them very well.

I like them.

I like the idea of putting ink to pulp products.

Draw it on clay cup and bake it, I'm down with that.

Heck, do it as icing on a cake, you make art and can eat it too.

You don't have to hit every day as far as I'm concerned, it's the creativity of the project that delights me.

Yeah i prefere the comic.
But i think its intresting and you show things and scenarios you never would in a coherent story,
So i watch all of them. And I have a great respect for your determination to put one pic out day after day.
I`m really not made to express myself in pictures... more in words of my mothertounge. ^^
