This is part of a large project I am going to do where I am going to draw every pokemon. yes EVERY ONE! lol ^w^' This is the super simplistic style i call super chibi. These will be in their own compilations based on evolution lines. This is kinda separate and originally I was gonna do just the kanto starters but I changed my mind as I love making them so much. its weedle boi! The obvious choice to make this simpler is to make them have less circles and its still easily recognisable. Yes that is intentional. Took me a while but i decided to represent the bug type with a yellow butterfly symbol for this series as I have a symbol to represent each type for the background of these super chibi artworks. the butterflys wings allows a lot of space for the artwork and yellow is a good default colour which makes sense for bugs and butterflies. butterfly is also easily recognisable with only an outline. all these things are important for the background symbol.
