This is Ashton Rosewood, a former thief now a traveling minstrel who sings what he learns on his travels, but he will occasionally go back to his old ways to get his next meal.
He is placed into the black knight universe, hence this King Sonic but he is placed as Ash's ancestor around the medieval time, Ash was named after him, since Alysha's mother would tell stories about this former thief and his trials and yes officially in my headcanon on Alysha's side of the family Ash's last name is Rosewood.
