Greetings dear followers, but mainly dear comissioners.

Since Summer I knew I will have an internship at a big company for 4 weaks. The next 4 weeks.
But i just heared now about the daily worktimes and with 3-4 hours of driving to work and back home again, I will barely find time to draw anything. Especially the big comissions I have planned.
I excuse myself. The last few weeks, I have been a bit lazy. I could have done more, but I also had other stuff to do.

Anyways. I want you all to inform, that I will be very inactive for the next four weeks. Don't worry.

Hey, it sounds like wonderful news though. I'm sure this internship will open up many opportunities! 3-4 hours round-trip sounds like a big deal, so don't push yourself! You should manage your time carefully for this, so don't worry about the commissions so much. This sounds important!

actually I only have 2 games of them, because I am a clasic strategy player. Basicly only Anno 1800 from Ubisoft. Well and the Soutpark game, but i think there Ubi is only the publisher.

Still it is the biggest company of game developers here in germany,so it is quite a big deal for me.

I seem to remember your mentioning the internship at least once before. I'm glad you heard back from them on hours and such, and I hope it all goes well for you! 3-4 hours on the road doesn't sound like fun, but I hope the rest will make up for that. And thanks for the heads up on the commissions, too. I'd say you've got your hands more than full already, so don't worry about the art 'til you're ready.

It's even worse. I am not only working at Ubisoft. I am working in the usability department.. of Uplay XD
Will be a nice challenge!

But I guess they wouldn't be one of the big players if they would realy be so bad as some people say they are.

So you're in the Beta Testing department? Anything other than Customer Care or Community Management and you'll be find i believe - a luxury I was not able to enjoy

Earning a steady income is much more important that your comic so, take your time.  All of your fans will be here waiting patiently for the return of BOTGG and anything with Madlaine in it.

you know, Ubisoft makes big games. Big games also includes Animation and stuff. I secretly hope to find a place later, where I work in professional way with animations, so i know how to make Botgg a series and not only a comic ;)
This would also speed up the production. So maybe this job leads to a place in such a departement wich would cause a breakthrou in botgg. Who knows. And yes. Yes I aim high with my goals.

Zaiks, the US Air Force used to have a saying, "Aim High!"  That also goes for civilian life, too.  Always aim high.  I believe you'll do great as an animator, especially if you're allowed to use the artstyle that you've developed to do BOTGG and all of your other drawings.  Good luck and may the angels smile on you in your future endeavors.
