I had Trunchbull take a stab at drawing August for 2012. She drew a lot of male characters around this time and I really enjoyed the way that she did realistic rubber. I thought I'd have her try drawing my big squeaky weirdo but I didn't really consider her lack of experience with fat, cartoony characters. She was also not comfortable drawing a diaper on the character, which is fine.
Still, I really appreciated seeing her take here. One thing I've come to enjoy as time went on was seeing an artist's interpretation of a character, even if it isn't always what you have in mind. The realistic lighting here makes him look like some kind of creepy eldrich thing from an abadoned daycare, which is cool in its own sort of way. It's even a little on brand for him. XD
