MarciMcAdam drew this shortly after my 18th birthday, making it my first ever piece of furry art! This is initial version of my first OC August. At first he was a folf (foxwolf) back then, which was the only time I was depicted as anything wolf-related until Blum many years later.

On top of being rubbery and a babyfur, he was also a shapeshiftey goo creature that was only just getting the hang of holding a form, hence the melty bits. This aspect didn't carry over into the raccoon/tanuki version of August that became more prominent. I asked for hazel eyes here because of that "Behind These Hazel Eyes" one Kelly Clarkson song because of course I did. :3

"SW" is a reference to "Silver Wolf", a guy who was my "master" when I was 16 and encouraged me to indulge all sorts of kink stuff. In retrospect this was grooming, as were similar interactions with others at the time. Thankfully, being a kinky furry was who I was always meant to be. :3
