Shema looking a little more cat-like with digitigrade legs. Must make dancing a bit difficult though.

Not to mention keeping one's balance when walking bipedally.  That's why most of my anthro characters are plantigrade rather than digitigrade.

This was legit the first drawing of Shema I ever saw in the community, and until I started commissioning, just about the only one. There's a handful of images out there of her that didn't originate from me, but they're few and far in-between.

I remember the Khajiit in Morrowind were digitigrade. The game dealt with that by having the Khajiit swing their legs to the side, then forwards, essentially bouncing on their feet, which doesn't make much sense when you're clad in full plate, but a game is a game .😅

I know it's been almost 3 years since I last commented on this drawing, but I just reread your reply.  I don't know if you've ever watched a film/video of a great cat (lion, tiger, etc.) walking.  They walk exactly the way that you described as occurring in the game.  Their forefeet swing out and forward as they walk.

Credit where credit is due: Bethesda did their research there! I'm a big fan of Morrowind (I had a blog chronicling a playthrough that lasted many years), but the games that followed it, Oblivion and Skyrim, didn't hit quite the same note with me.
