Never got to play them, but I made a kenku claric that was raised by the head of a church, the idea was that since he was always around that man I could use his voice for just about everything. And shout fake holy scriptures about smirking people with lightning. Kenku can break up sentences and fit them together.
If I won’t harm your backstory give them a character like that (mabey an aarakocra if there in your world) that they where canonacly around all the time.
